WATCH Board Quarterly Meetings

Since the founding of WATCH in 1999, the WATCH Board has consistently met on a set schedule of quarterly meetings.

3rd Sunday in January (typically held at The Birchmere after nominations are read.  Usually this is the Sunday before the federal holiday observing Martin Luther King Jr. Birthday)
3rd Sunday in April (this meeting has only been moved when it coincides with Easter Sunday).
3rd Sunday in July
3rd Sunday in October

By keeping the meetings consistent annually, it was determined that it would help to minimize calendar negotiations for changing the dates.  Reps who are unable to attend meetings due to conflict are highly encouraged to send an alternate from their theater.

Meetings are "normally" held at 4:30pm.  For the first several years, the meetings were consistently held at the Reston Community Players Rehearsal Hall.  But as WATCH has grown, the meeting has moved around as other theaters have offered to host.

Meetings are open to representatives of all member theaters and their guests.  Outside guests are welcome, but please contact the current chair of WATCH if you would like to address the meeting formally.
