In each of the twenty-five categories five nominees were selected based
on the average scores of at least seven judges. In some categories, due to
score ties, more than five nominees were announced. Likewise, some
categories have fewer than five nominees as only a certain number of shows
met the criteria in those categories.
Nominations are presented in alphabetical order by nominee with the Award
Recipient highlighted.
The nominations were announced at a public event on January 14, 2001 in
Alexandria, VA.
